Floyd Memorial offers a diverse range of services dedicated to advancing the health of women in Southern Indiana. Our unique Women’s Imaging Center provides access to a wide range of sophisticated diagnostic and imaging technologies in a convenient, private location specifically designed with women in mind. We are a certified Softer Mammogram Provider, using cushioned Mammopads to allow for the most advanced, comfortable experience possible. Also available at the Women’s Imaging Center are magnetic resonance (MR) testing, pDXA osteoporosis screening and bone density scans with a DEXA (Dual Energy X-Ray Absorptiometry) machine, digital mammography that utilizes the Siemens MAMMOMAT Novation DR (the most advanced digital mammography system available), stereotactic breast biopsy, ultrasounds and 4-D obstetric ultrasounds.
Floyd Memorial also provides a progressive labor and delivery unit where mothers-to-be can deliver their babies with assurance that their needs will be attended to by a compassionate and well-trained staff. Our Labor and Delivery Unit reflects the unique nature of women’s health today.
