Joslin Diabetes Center

In 1997, Floyd Memorial opened its Joslin Diabetes Center Affiliate, becoming the only facility capable of bringing a national level of expertise to diabetes care in the Kentuckiana area. The global leader in diabetes research, care and education, Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston, Massachusetts has been dedicated to conquering diabetes in all of its forms for over a century. Founded by Elliott P. Joslin, M.D. in 1898, it is now an independent, nonprofit institution affiliated with Harvard Medical School. Since 1987, the Joslin network of affiliated programs and centers around the country have been able to bring innovative, leading-edge clinical and educational programs focused on diabetes to local communities.

Floyd Memorial’s Joslin Diabetes Center Affiliate is home to a committed team of endocrinologists, diabetes educators, medical professionals and researchers. Our team uses a comprehensive network of education, treatment, research, knowledge and skill. They are devoted to helping individuals of all ages living with diabetes to achieve and maintain good health while preventing the diverse and damaging effects of the disease.
